Joel has had a passion for music since he began performing with a local music school at the age of ten. After receiving formal tuition from Neil Hogan throughout secondary school, Joel went on to study Commercial Music Performance at the University of Westminster, graduating in 2018. Whilst studying, Joel received private tuition from Ralph Salmins and Matt Whittington.

 

​​Joel's most recent credits include: More (MT Fest @ The Other Palace), Spring Awakening (ArtsEd), I Wish You Well: The Gwyneth Paltrow Ski-Trial Musical (Criterion Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, Norwich Playhouse), Come Dine With Me: The Musical (Edinburgh Fringe, Norwich Playhouse), Silence! The Musical (Edinburgh Fringe, Norwich Playhouse), Cable Street (Southwark Playhouse), The Little Big Things (@sohoplace), Rehab (Neon 194), Snow White (Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds), Sweet Charity (ArtsEd), Velma Celli (Crazy Coqs), Grindr: The Opera (Union Theatre), Eugenius! (The Turbine Theatre), as well as numerous workshops, pantomimes and other productions. Joel also performs regularly with the No Limit Street Band and has performed with the University of Reading Festival Sinfonia, The 710 Club on P&O Iona, and in house bands aboard Viking and Holland America Line cruises.

 

​Joel has both acoustic and electronic drum kits and holds a Full UK Driving Licence.
